Susan E. McKee
Susan has nurtured a life-long passion for art and literature. She majored in English literature in college and pursued the study of art in both the United States and Europe. This academic basis, her love for people, and her extensive world travel have been blended into a unique style which is the inspiration for both her art and writing.
Susan's mixed media art works of landscape vistas and old world charm have won numerous awards over the years. More recently she has turned to capturing people in a natural, relaxed environment, “Peoplescapes” she calls them, and she's delighted that they’ve been recognized too.
When Susan and her husband were called to go on a mission to China to teach English at a small college, they were thrilled. As Susan wrote e-mails of their life in China to family and friends at home, her husband collected them to make a monthly overall report of their adventures. These were the basis for Susan's new book release, Days Like Floating Water, A Story of Modern China. |
